Make room.
Share your life.
Make disciples.

You don’t have to have all the answers. You just need faith in Jesus and a willingness to walk alongside a young person.

Still exploring? See what the commitment looks like ↓

01 KNOW JESUS
02 LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR
03 MAKE DISCIPLES
A calling for all Christians

You’re still growing.
You can help someone
else grow, too.

Jesus calls His followers to make disciples. That calling isn’t reserved for pastors or theologians. As we follow Him, we can help others learn to follow Him, too.

We’re looking for men and women of God in Houston who are striving to live a godly life and willing to include a teenager in it. Your listening ear, your consistency, and your example can make a difference.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

MATTHEW 28:19 · ESV

Life on life discipleship

From scheduled meetings
to shared life.

Jesus taught His disciples and shared everyday life with them. At StandOUT, we want faith to be both talked about and lived out. BLOCK Parties are the starting point. The relationship continues beyond the program.

BLOCK Parties are held twice a month on Tuesdays.

North Houston

01

Start by showing up.

Attend BLOCK Parties twice a month to meet teens, build connections, and become part of the StandOUT community.

02

Keep coming together.

Twice a month, youth and mentors gather for fun and meaningful conversations about Jesus. A place to build friendships and belong.

03

Connect beyond the program.

Teens practice servant leadership by leading discussions, encouraging their peers, and helping shape their StandOUT community.

Make time. Make room. This takes intentional effort. The invitation is to build a lasting relationship and include a young person in your life.

A few things you may be wondering

Let’s make it a little clearer.

Christian men and women in the Houston area who are striving to live a godly life and are ready to walk alongside a teenager with patience, care, and consistency.

No. You do need a relationship with Jesus and a desire to live out your faith. It’s okay to say, “I don’t know. Let’s learn together.”

It can be a check in about their week, a meal, a basketball game, serving together, or a conversation about Scripture. The goal is to build a consistent relationship through intentional time and everyday moments.

Yes. Continue attending twice a month and connect with your teen outside the program. Both shared community and personal connection are part of the commitment.
