Statement of Faith
At StandOUT Youth Discipleship, our faith is anchored in the truth of the Bible and the person of Jesus Christ.


We believe:

The Bible
We affirm that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). It is the final source of truth and guidance for all matters of faith and life.


God
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). God is sovereign, holy, and loving, and He created all things for His glory.


Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory (John 1:1–4; Acts 1:9–11).


Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9). Through His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ offers eternal life to all who believe in Him and confess Him as Lord (Romans 10:9–10).


The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin and regenerates believers, enabling them to live a holy life and equipping them with spiritual gifts for service (John 16:7–11; 1 Corinthians 12:7–11).


The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers who are united in faith and called to worship, fellowship, and mission (Ephesians 1:22–23). The local church plays a vital role in spiritual growth, accountability, and discipleship.


Righteous and Godly Living
We believe that believers are called to live lives of righteousness and holiness, reflecting the character of Christ in all areas of life. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are to pursue godly living by rejecting sin, practicing love, humility, and integrity, and aligning our lives with biblical principles (Titus 2:11–12; 1 Peter 1:15–16). Our actions should be a testimony to the transforming power of the Gospel, bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10).


Marriage and Sexuality
We believe that God created marriage to be a sacred union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6). We uphold the biblical view of marriage as the only appropriate context for sexual intimacy. We believe that couples are called to abstain from sexual relations until they are married and that all believers should live faithfully within the covenant of marriage, reflecting Christ’s love and commitment to His Church (Ephesians 5:25–33). We affirm that marriage is designed for companionship, mutual support, and the raising of children in a godly home.


The Great Commission
We believe that Jesus commissioned all believers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all that He commanded (Matthew 28:18–20). We are committed to proclaiming the Gospel and multiplying disciples who live out Christ's mission in the world.


Eternal Life
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost—those who are saved to eternal life with God, and those who are lost to eternal separation from Him (John 5:28–29).

Photo & Video Release

I hereby grant StandOUT Youth Discipleship permission to the rights of my image, likeness, and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. I understand that my image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording. I also understand that this material may be used in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area.
Photographic, audio, or video recordings may be used for the following purposes:

The information contained in this application is correct to the best of my knowledge. I authorize any churches listed in this application to give StandOUT Youth Discipleship any information (including opinions) that they have regarding my character and capacity to work with youth. In consideration of the receipt and evaluation of this application by StandOUT, I hereby release any individual, church, children/youth organization, charity, employer, or any other person or organization, including record custodians, both collectively and individually, from any and all liability for damages of whatever kind or nature which may at any time result to me, my heirs, or family on account of compliance or any attempts to comply, with this authorization. I waive any right that I may have to inspect any information provided about me by any person or organization identified in this application.

I further state that I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THE FOREGOING RELEASE AND KNOW THE CONTENTS THEREOF AND I SIGN THIS RELEASE AS MY OWN FREE ACT. This is a legally binding agreement, which I have read and understand.
