The Great Commission calls us to make disciples of all nations, and my heart has always been drawn to the next generation. Teens today are navigating immense pressures—conformity, identity, and choices that shape their future—and they need more than programs. They need steady voices and trusted relationships that point them to Jesus and help them walk with Him in everyday life.

I grew up in a Christian home, blessed with parents who loved the Lord, discipled me faithfully, and made sure I was rooted in the church. Yet, like every young person, I faced the struggle of sin. I often got into trouble in school, wrestled with my behavior, and had to learn what it meant to let God transform both my heart and my mind. It was in my teenage years that my faith became real and personal, and even though it wasn’t until college that I fully surrendered, God had already planted in me a deep desire to see other teens experience the same transforming grace I had received.

That desire became a conviction: discipleship must be life-on-life. It is not just teaching from a distance but walking alongside youth in their struggles, questions, and growth. StandOUT exists because I believe teens don’t just need to hear about Jesus once a week; they need mentors who will show them how to follow Him every day. Through BLOCK Parties, mentorship, and peer leadership, we are committed to making disciples who make disciples—so the next generation not only stands strong in Christ but multiplies His Kingdom.
